*Mardi Gras season kicks off with the long-awaited return of Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo. Affectionately called The Trocks, this lovable all-male ballet company performs delightful parodies of great ballet classics from Swan Lake, Giselle and the Dying Swan to the dances of George Balanchine and Martha Graham.
Filling the stage with technically proficient male ballerinas on pointe and in tutus have made The Trocks a worldwide dance phenomenon and one of the great comic creations of the American stage. San Francisco Chronicle
Their technique is superb, their timing faultless and their regard for the traditions of classical ballet beyond reproach.
*The performance is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. Once the performance begins, there will be no seating until a pause or intermission.
